Jericho’s Status · Jeff Hardy Returning? · Bobby Lashley At Mania?

In a day of very important news with the WWE seemingly this close to buying TNA, other important and interesting news has also occurred

Chris Jericho’s WWE status is currently up in the air as it was reported that he would be leaving the WWE after Hell In A Cell in October to go on tour with his band Fozzy. However, Chris Jericho has been added and is being advertised for the December 29th Chicago house show which is raising the question. What will happen to Chris Jericho after Hell In A Cell? It looks as if he might be sticking around for just a little longer which is great news for us or maybe it is his next return date. Either way, it’s great news.

Jeff Hardy recently did an interview with Sports Illustrated and talked about a potential WWE return, especially with the likelihood of WWE buying TNA.

“All the WWE stuff really depends on what happens between now and February with TNA, I just went out to Nashville and recorded six songs, and we’re about to open a store that sells original art work, which is going to be huge. If it feels right and good, I don’t see anything wrong with staying. When you commit to a WWE contract, you’re committing to some serious time away from home. If it were under my terms, there might be a chance, but I’m really not sure. Of course it would be nice, but what we’re doing right now is so much fun. I don’t want to go back to WWE and burn out within four or five months, and having another run as TNA world champion would feel just as good.”

Jeff is clearly enjoying his time in TNA but if the company gets bought out by the WWE, it looks as if he might not return to the company.

And TNA World Champion Bobby Lashley was on Jim Ross’ podcast and pointed out that he would be interested in a match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

“You know, I hear that all the time, and J.R., you know as well as I do, it’s not in my hands. If you ask me, I would say absolutely, but it’s the powers that be. I think that there’s enough fans who would love to see it. They’ve been saying it from day one. And you know what the funny thing about it is? I’ve never met Brock in person. Never crossed paths with Brock anywhere. So we don’t even know each other at all, whatsoever.”

“And I’ve always been compared to Brock, and they say ‘Are you and Brock gonna fight? Are you and Brock gonna wrestle? I don’t know if the fighting is still an opportunity with me being in Bellator and him kind of being with the UFC; or I don’t know what the situation is right now. So I don’t know if the fight thing is possible, but to see me as Brock’s destroying everyone and save the day, or vice versa, whatever the case is, have us stand face to face? I think the crowd would go insane. And there’s a tremendous amount of money in it. If it were to happen, then I’m open for it.”

Bobby Lashley returning to WWE looks likely and if he does, Brock Lesnar needs to look out.
